原画から名機まで、ゲーム文化を巡る展示
会場内には、フェスティバル全体にわたって多彩なアートと名機が広がります。日本のゲーム史を彩ってきた貴重なハードウェアコレクションも展示し、マイクロコンピュータ、8ビットゲーム機から3D時代の到来、携帯ゲーム機の進化まで、ゲームの歴史を築いたハードウェアの特設展示を開催します。
さらに、『Cairn』のために描かれたマチュー・バブレによる原画や制作スケッチをはじめ、『アウターワールド』などで知られるエリック・シャイ、そして『アローン・イン・ザ・ダーク』『リトル・ビッグ・アドベンチャー』などを手がけたフレデリック・レイナルといった、フランスを代表するゲームクリエイターたちの世界をご紹介します。
なお、『エネミー・ゼロ』発売30周年を記念したオマージュ展では、当時のデザイン資料や関連アイテムを公開します。
The Tenth Mosaicならではの視点で、ゲームというメディアが歩んできた芸術・創造・技術の軌跡をたどる体験をお楽しみください。
展示、そしてアートコンテンツなどは入場チケットでご覧いただけます。
Art, Creators, and the Machines That Shaped a Medium
Wander through an exhibition showcasing the iconic hardware that helped shape the history of Japanese video games arcade machines to microcomputers, from 8-bit consoles to the 3D revolution and the rise of portable gaming. Furthermore, Mathieu Bablet's artwork will be on display to introduce the preparatory sketches for Cairn, in addition to the pioneering worlds of French game creators Eric Chahi (Future Wars, Another World, …) and Frédérick Raynal (Alone in the Dark, Little Big Adventure, …).
Finally, a tribute corner celebrates the Enemy Zero's 30th anniversary through its design documents and memorabilia. The Tenth Mosaic offers a journey through the artistic, creative, and technological milestones of the video game medium.
The main exhibition and showcases are accessible with a base entry ticket.
